Your baby may be working on walking this month, holding on to whatever she can to help her cruise through the house. To keep her safe, make sure that you secure freestanding bookshelves, lamps, and other unstable furniture that might tumble when she grabs it. Leave her feet bare too - that'll help her keep her balance as she takes those first stumbling steps. And of course, stay close by to lend a helping hand. Remember, babies have their own individual timetables. At this age, some babies will begin to do things much earlier or later than others.
